I want you to think about that sentence.
Your father and I...
Not only is that women openingly heterosexual, but she's open about having sex at least once.
Heterosexual people do this all the time. They talk about their wives and their husbands, their boyfriends and girlfriends, people they have crushes on and it's perfectly fine. Homosexuals do the exact same thing and we're flaunting it. We're shoving it down people's throats. We're being too open about it.
When we think of heterosexuality, we tend to think of a wide range of actives. But when we think about homosexuality, be focus on the sexual aspect. This creates for us, a kind of double standard.
Where we think of heterosexual people having relationships, and homosexual people having sex.
We say things like:
Heterosexual people have lives. Homosexual people have "lifestyles".
Heterosexual people have a moral vision. Homosexual people have "agendas".
These words we use effect the way we think about things. And again he wave this double standard. And it's not fair.

The hypocrisy that I've seen been spat in the face of Gay Right's activists never ceases to horrify me. Their arguments ranging from the common Biblical condemnation (which, by the way, the Bible has no right to be imposed in our nation's laws) to AIDS and gay/lesbian couples being defective parents.
But most ridiculous one I've come across is the issue raised when a gay/lesbian person talks about their boyfriend/girlfriend. They're immediately flaunting their sexuality around, even though strait couples are accepted, and their affection towards each other is completely normal.
These things not only put a damper on the gay individual's self worth, but saturate the issue further into this "double standard," where it's OKAY for heterosexuals to flaunt, but DEAR GOD, hide the childern!! The gays are out of their closets!!
People. Please understand that...we "scary heathen devil-worshiping" gays, have absolutely no desire to put out our sexuality towards an audience. Most of time, it isn't even safe to do so. Consider that in more than 10 countries in the Middle East, homosexual sex is a crime, where it is punishable by death.
So how does the opposition honestly expect gays to be "less open," when they're forced into silence in the first place? Those people have no idea what horrors gay/lesbians face, what dangers attack them when they're out in the open. Just for being themselves.
Matthew Shepard was open with himself.
Shortly after midnight on October 7, 1998, 21-year-old Shepard met McKinney and Henderson in a bar. McKinney and Henderson offered Shepard a ride in their car.[4] Subsequently, Shepard was robbed, pistol whipped, tortured, tied to a fence in a remote, rural area, and left to die.
After befriending him, they took him to a remote area of Laramie where they robbed him, beat him severely, and tied him to a fence with a rope from McKinney's truck while Shepard begged for his life. Media reports often contained the graphic account of the pistol whipping and his smashed skull. It was reported that Shepard was beaten so brutally that his face was covered in blood, except where it had been partially washed clean by his tears.
This, sometimes, is the result of being open. This, sometimes, is what happens, when someone flaunts it.
Up until 1998 there wasn't a legislation for hate crimes against LGBT individuals. And unfortunately, Shepard's death is what made people open their eyes.
I only hope more will.
But after reading some arguments against Gay Rights, I'm really starting to loose faith in humanity.

People saying horrible things about homosexuals is beyond wrong. I mean, I might sound idiotic but if you're gay or not, you should be allowed for the same rights as anyone.
In honest you're making a good point about this

Would you mind if I wrote a journal somewhat similar to this?
I'm not religious either, after learning that most of the time it breeds intolerance.

However, homosexuality isn't really natural.
